Slō: Korea

$25.00

Join us for an elevated dining experience curated by Wendy Puffer at 6pm Friday, September 5th at Marion Design Co. for a 3 course meal. Slō (Korean for “slow”), is designed to inspire us to come together at the table and enjoy thoughtful conversation in the comfort of community.

Wendy Puffer, co-founder of Marion Design Co. and creator of SLŌ Korea, draws on her Korean heritage and passion for community to create an immersive dining experience that celebrates the Korean tradition of sharing around the table. Born in Seoul and raised in the U.S., Wendy infuses each SLŌ Korea event with the warmth, hospitality, and intentional connection that define Korean meals, inviting guests to slow down, savor authentic flavors, and build meaningful relationships through the communal act of eating together.

The curated menu of the evening features:

Starter:

Leaf Wraps and Rice

Entrée:

  • Galbi: Korean Grilled Short Ribs

  • Vegetarian Option - Tofu Galbi

Galbi (갈비), also known as kalbi or galbi-gui (갈비구이), is a signature Korean barbecue dish featuring beef short ribs marinated in a sweet, savory sauce and grilled to perfection. The word "galbi" literally means "ribs" in Korean

  • Napa Cabbage Kimchi

  • Seasoned soybean sprouts

  • Spicy cucumber salad

  • Spinach with Scallions and Sesame

  • Steamed savory egg custard
